Book Titles and Levels

The first place you can get leveled books is through the classroom teacher.  To ensure these books are at the specified level, check them out through the Scholastic Book Wizard site: http://www.scholastic.com/bookwizard/ .

The Scholastic web site is another place that you can find leveled book titles. Go to http://www.scholastic.com/bookwizard/ and check off the “Search by Reading Level”, the third box in the “Book Wizard” section.  Check off the “Guided Reading” box and insert the guided reading letters you are looking for.  For example, D to E.  This will take you to a list of book titles that you can either buy or try to find in your local library.

Another site you can go to get a list of leveled books is http://www.yourkidcanread.com/TipsForFluentReading.html Go to the Fountas-Pinnel leveled book list and choose the grade your child is in and then scroll down until you find the letter your child is reading at an instructional level.
